This page explains what VZCABLE collects when you call or visit us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to reach us if you have questions. Plain language, no fine-print tricks.
VZCABLE ("VZCABLE," "we," "us") operates as an independent marketing and comparison service that helps people find cable, internet, and TV bundles available at their address. This policy covers two things: what happens when you visit this website, and what happens when you call our line at (888) 525-2986.
We built our service around phone calls rather than online forms, so we intentionally collect far less personal data through this website than most comparison sites do. Most of what we know about you comes from what you choose to tell an agent on the phone.
We collect information in three ways, depending on how you interact with us:
We do not ask visitors to fill out lead-generation forms, and we do not sell address lists or contact databases to third parties.
Because our service is call-based, this section matters more than it would on a typical website.
By calling (888) 525-2986, you consent to that call being recorded or monitored for quality assurance and training, where disclosed. If you call us back after providing your number to an agent, or after requesting a callback, you're consenting to receive that follow-up call, which may involve an autodialer or prerecorded message as permitted under applicable telemarketing law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
You can ask an agent at any time to stop future contact, and we will honor that request and note it on file. We do not place unsolicited outbound sales calls to numbers that have not first called or otherwise engaged with VZCABLE, except where you've separately provided consent.
To do what we do, some sharing is necessary:
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not share call recordings or email contents with unrelated third parties for their own marketing use.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics scripts. The one outside request it makes is to Google Fonts, which loads typefaces used across the page; this involves your browser contacting Google's servers, which is standard for most modern websites and is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
If that changes in the future, for example if we add analytics to understand site traffic, this section will be updated to reflect it before the change takes effect.
We keep call records, emails, and order details for as long as needed to support your service, resolve disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations under applicable telecom and consumer-protection law, after which they are deleted or de-identified on a routine schedule.
Depending on the state you live in, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of certain kinds of sharing. This includes rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar protections that other states have since adopted.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@vzcable.com or call (888) 525-2986 and ask to speak with someone about a privacy request. We'll verify your identity before making changes and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We do not charge a fee for making a privacy request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Our services are intended for adults who can enter into a service agreement for cable, internet, or TV service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we'll remove it.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to call records and order details to staff who need them to do their jobs. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection against every possible risk.
We may update this policy as our service changes or as laws require. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting how we handle previously collected information will be communicated before they take effect.
